Nearly twenty years ago, Timothy Riesen, a freelance artist and designer, was asked by his brother, a patent attorney just out of law school, to create a patent illustration. Timothy gladly accepted the challenge and delivered. His brother's mentors and coworkers were so impressed that they began asking Timothy to produce his style of illustrations, which included accurate portrayals with an artistic touch that brought the designs to life on the page. The Riesen Design Ltd. was founded soon afterward. Two years ago, Timothy joined forces with John Wiley, and together they founded The IP Resource, continuing to provide the same quality designs and illustrations, now with added value for our clients—both the innovators and the attorneys.
